‘SORTIR AU JOUR’ tells the story of a world slowly slipping into a state of absolute indifference. Oscillating between acceptance and resistance, the characters and objects appearing throughout this video work are exposed to the force of an increasing entropy: Their bodies merge, their architecture crumbles, and their individuality becomes more diffuse. Here uniqueness is reflected in otherness, and sameness transforms into multiplicity.
