Am I helping Anthuriums?

To critically question a practice I love doing, necessitates looking at it from various angles and considering its impact on the world. My focus is on the hybridization of Anthurium, something I have been doing without much thought. If I truly love Anthuriums, should I continue doing this? Perhaps it would be better to refrain and admire and support these plants in their natural habitat. This is an invitation to question things that we love, even if they seem beyond questioning.
